Description
A set of galvanized springs used when the original ones are worn out.
The springs can be replaced as long as the flat bar arms are not excessively worn, i.e. the holes have not been significantly enlarged. When replacing the springs, it is also advisable to replace the axle.
To replace it, you need a vice, a hammer and a center punch to knock out the axle on which the springs are mounted.
We rest the flat bars of the arms on the surface of the slightly open jaws of the vice, between which we insert the axle.
To determine the position of the pump, we very gently clench the jaws.
Using a punch, we knock out the axle with a hammer.
We replace the springs, install the axle in the arms and tap the axle ends with a hammer.
